What should I expect on HydraFacial treatment day?
There is no pain involved. You will relax for 45-60 minutes while your face and neck is treated. The skin is cleansed, exfoliated, extractions are completed, and nourishing antioxidants are infused in the skin while you unwind at Frederick Dermatology.
Am I candidate for a HydraFacial treatment?
Yes, the HydraFacial is designed for all skin types. Even those with dry, sensitive, rosacea prone skin can tolerate and enjoy its benefits.
How often should I receive a HydraFacial?
Ideal frequency is every 4-6 weeks. However, if this doesn’t fit your budget, we recommend every quarter to maintain a great anti-aging regimen. Remember, if you are trying to avoid plastic surgery and a “done-look”, half the battle is prevention and maintenance.
Will HydraFacial adversely effect my filler like Juvederm or Restylane?
No, there will be no breakdown of your filler with HydraFacial treatments. In fact, they both have the ability to work in different manners to stimulate collagen in your skin, thus working synergistically to give you the best results.
Can I receive Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin on the same day as my HydraFacial?
Yes, at Frederick Dermatology Associates, we commonly perform both on the same day. However, the Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin will be performed after you are done lying down for your relaxing HydraFacial treatment. You want to remain upright for 4-6 hours after your injections. Therefore, we perform it after the HydraFacial.
