Swetcha Lankapalli – MPA, PA-C

Swetcha Lankapalli, MPA, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant whose commitment to dermatology began early in her medical journey. After volunteering at Inova Fairfax Hospital in high school and later working as a medical scribe for an oncology and hematology practice, she pursued her Master of Physician Assistant degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. During training, she gained extensive experience across pediatrics, general surgery, internal medicine, critical care, and dermatology. It was during her rotations in dermatology that she discovered her passion for the specialty—particularly the complexity of skin disease and the profound impact that skilled, attentive care can have on patients’ lives.

Swetcha joined Frederick Dermatology Associates in 2018, where she trained closely with Dr. Moe, whose mentorship strengthened her clinical skills and deepened her commitment to thoughtful, individualized patient care. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is completing the Diplomate Fellowship Program in Dermatology, one of the most rigorous post-graduate training pathways in the field.

At Frederick Dermatology Associates, Swetcha focuses on providing high-quality, personalized dermatologic care. She believes every patient deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with precision—not rushed through a schedule. Her clinical interests include early detection of skin cancer through comprehensive skin exams, as well as the diagnosis and management of acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and other complex skin conditions. She values education as a core part of care, empowering patients to understand their skin and the best long-term treatment strategies.

Swetcha lives in Frederick, MD, with her husband and their puppy, Ollie. She is honored to care for patients across Western Maryland and is dedicated to delivering the exceptional dermatologic care that defines Frederick Dermatology Associates.

Megan Putman – MMS, PA-C

Megan Putman, MMS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant who brings deep clinical experience and a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to Frederick Dermatology Associates. Before joining FDA, Megan practiced in primary care, surgical oncology, medical oncology, and clinical research across Maryland, giving her a strong foundation in complex medical decision making and evidence-based treatment.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Delaware and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

At Frederick Dermatology Associates, Megan provides comprehensive dermatologic care with a focus on clear communication, individualized treatment plans, and early detection of skin cancer. She practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology and is committed to the standard of excellence our practice is known for. Working closely with Dr. Moe and the FDA clinical team, Megan delivers the thoughtful, detail-oriented care that patients consistently value in our practice.

A Frederick native, Megan lives locally with her husband and three children. Outside of the office, she is an avid runner, former competitive swimmer, and active community member; often found supporting Frederick County youth sports or coaching her children’s club swim team.

Christi Mayberry – MSN, AGNP-BC, DCNP

Christi is an experienced aesthetic nurse who has become a trusted part of the Frederick Dermatology Associates team, known for her meticulous technique, warm demeanor, and ability to create natural, refreshed results. With a background in medical and cosmetic dermatology, Christi blends clinical expertise with an artistic eye, helping patients feel confident and cared for throughout every step of their aesthetic journey.

At Frederick Dermatology Associates, Christi works closely with Dr. Moe and the surgical and medical dermatology team, ensuring every cosmetic treatment aligns with the practice’s commitment to safe, research-supported, and individualized care. She is extensively trained in a wide range of non-invasive procedures, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, skin rejuvenation treatments, and energy-based devices. Christi is dedicated to ongoing professional education and remains current with advances in aesthetic medicine and dermatologic science.

Known for her personalized approach, Christi takes time to understand each patient’s goals, answer questions thoroughly, and create treatment plans that enhance natural beauty without looking overdone. Her patients value her gentle touch, attention to detail, and ability to deliver elegant, balanced results.

Outside the office, Christi is passionate about wellness and spending time with her family. She enjoys staying active in the Frederick community and appreciates the opportunity to help patients look and feel their best.

Nikki Murray – MSN, AGNP-BC, CRNP

Nikki Murray is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who brings extensive clinical experience and a thoughtful, patient-focused approach to Frederick Dermatology Associates. She began her career in healthcare more than a decade ago, first earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in 2008, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University. Nikki gained valuable experience early in her career working in orthopedics, mental health, and medical-surgical care, as well as serving as a certified Forensic Nurse Examiner.

Driven to broaden her clinical expertise, Nikki completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University and achieved board certification as a Nurse Practitioner. She joined Frederick Dermatology Associates in 2016, where she trained closely under the guidance of experienced dermatology leaders. Through this mentorship and her dedication to lifelong learning, Nikki developed a strong foundation in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

At FDA, Nikki provides comprehensive dermatologic care with an emphasis on prevention, early detection, and individualized treatment planning. Her warm communication style and meticulous attention to detail allow her to create meaningful partnerships with patients, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and confident in their care. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

A Frederick, Maryland native, Nikki continues to live in the community with her husband and their two sons. Kristin Lawton – RN

Kristin Lawton is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Esthetician. She graduated from Carroll Community College in 2010. Upon graduation she worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital on a Cardiac unit and then at American Laser Skincare where she performed various laser and skincare treatments. Kristin has a passion for helping people look and feel their best.

After 7 years as an Esthetician, Kristin decided to return to school to pursue a career in nursing so that she could further her education and be able to provide more extensive treatments. Kristin joined Frederick Dermatology in 2015. She is currently performing cosmetic procedures as well as treating psoriasis and vitiligo patients with the Pharos excimer laser. Kristin enjoys educating patients and making a difference in their skin.

Kristin Lawton is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Esthetician who brings more than a decade of experience in skin health, laser medicine, and aesthetic treatments to Frederick Dermatology Associates.

Kristin began her career at Johns Hopkins Hospital on a cardiac unit before moving into the aesthetic field, where she gained extensive hands-on experience performing laser and skincare treatments. Her early exposure to both medical and cosmetic dermatology sparked a long-standing commitment to providing patients with safe, effective, and scientifically grounded results.

Kristin joined Frederick Dermatology Associates in 2015, where she trained directly under Dr. Kathleen Moe. Through this focused mentorship, Kristin developed deep expertise in laser medicine, energy-based devices, and cosmetic injectables, allowing her to offer advanced treatment options with precision and confidence. She is known for her thoughtful, patient-centered approach and her ability to create natural, refined outcomes tailored to each individual’s skin needs.

Kristin is dedicated to helping patients feel their best and takes pride in contributing to FDA’s high standard of dermatologic and aesthetic excellence. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and remains committed to ongoing education to stay current with innovations in dermatology and medical aesthetics.

Meredith Gusman – RN

Meredith Gusman is an experienced Registered Nurse whose career reflects nearly two decades of dedication to patient care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Towson University in 2002 and went on to complete her nursing degree at Frederick Community College in 2006. Meredith began her nursing career in Labor & Delivery at Frederick Memorial Hospital, where she spent 18 years caring for families, advancing to charge nurse, and earning recognition from both peers and the community; including nominations for Nurse of the Year in 2017 and being voted Best Nurse in Frederick by Frederick’s Child Magazine readers in 2021.

Drawn to a more hands-on and evolving field of medicine, Meredith transitioned into aesthetic dermatology and joined Frederick Dermatology Associates. Under Dr. Moe’s clinical guidance and FDA’s collaborative approach, she has expanded her expertise into cosmetic dermatology, with a focus on delivering safe, thoughtful, evidence-based care. Meredith is known for her steady clinical judgment, her calming presence, and her commitment to helping patients feel confident and well cared for throughout their treatment experience.

Meredith is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients and providing the high-level, patient-centered care that defines Frederick Dermatology Associates.

Carlotta (Carly) Stoecker – Licensed Aesthetician

Carly Stoecker is a recent graduate of the Esthetic Institute and has joined our team as a Licensed Aesthetician. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Hollins University and a Master of Science degree in Business from Full Sail University. After which she studied at The Academy of Makeup in Baltimore. Carly worked for Smashbox Cosmetics as a makeup artist and has been in the skincare industry as a brand representative for Exuviance, Neutrogena and Aveeno for the past decade. She has a passion for restoring the skin to a healthy state through the use of quality skincare ingredients. Carly genuinely cares about meeting people’s personal skincare needs. She loves learning, animals, traveling and being outside in nature. Her friendly disposition quickly puts one at ease. Her main goal is to achieve superior results for her clients who can be confident about having a better understanding of their skincare requirements.
