Swetcha Lankapalli – MPA, PA-C

Swetcha is a board certified physician assistant graduating from Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Master of Physician Assistant program. Her love for medicine began early in high school where she worked as a volunteer in Inova Fairfax Hospital and into her undergraduate studies at George Mason University as a medical scribe for an Oncology and Hematology office prior to joining EVMS. Her experience during rotations allowed her to delve into a variety of fields including pediatrics, general surgery, cardiac intensive care unit, internal medicine and dermatology. It was during her rotation with Pariser Dermatology that she discovered her love for the largest organ of the human body, the skin. After joining Frederick Dermatology Associates in 2018 and working along side Dr.Hogan and Dr.Moe who are not only brilliant dermatologists but also phenomenal teachers, she knew she found her calling. She is a member of The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is completing The Diplomate Fellowship Program in Dermatology.

Swetcha’s desire is to deliver high-quality individualistic patient care and values that she is able to do this at FDA for every person that walks through her door. Each patient is treated personally and is not just another number on a schedule. She specializes in early prevention of skin cancer by providing annual skin cancer screenings and education to her patients. In addition, she diagnoses and creates customized treatment plans for patients with various skin conditions including, but not limited to, acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis and warts.

Swetcha lives in Leesburg, VA with her wonderful husband and puppy, Ollie. She is thrilled to serve the communities of Maryland and its neighbors with the skin care treatment they deserve.

Megan Putman – MMS, PA-C

Megan is a board-certified physician assistant who brings a wealth of experience to Frederick Dermatology Associates. She has previously held positions as a physician assistant in primary care, surgical oncology, medical oncology, and clinical research across Maryland. Before becoming a physician assistant, Megan worked as a clinical microbiologist. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Delaware and a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University. Megan is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Joining Frederick Dermatology Associates in 2024, Megan is thrilled to contribute her knowledge and experience to the team. With expert training from Dr. Moe, you can trust Megan to provide the high-quality care you expect from FDA. She is passionate about working with patients and aims to meet their needs with evidence-based medicine. Practicing both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Megan is dedicated to delivering the best care for the community.

A Frederick native, Megan lives in Frederick with her husband and three children. An avid runner and former competitive swimmer, you might find her running around Frederick County or poolside, coaching her children’s club swim team.

Christi Mayberry – MSN, AGNP-BC, DCNP

Christi is a board certified dermatology nurse practitioner practicing at Frederick Dermatology associates since 2014. She completed her Bachelors of Science from Salisbury University, and began her career as a cardiac pulmonary nurse for many years. Continuing her love for learning, Christi attended University of Maryland’s Graduate School of Nursing, currently ranked among the top graduate nursing programs in the country, completing the program with honors. Having found a passion for dermatology during her graduate studies, she was fortunate to find Dr. Moe and Dr. Hogan and FDA.

Christi loves the one on one patient interaction she has on a daily basis, and fully appreciates having a job where helping so many people is the primary focus. She provides the full spectrum of medical dermatology services as well as cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurses Association.

A local Frederick MD native, Christi is a proud mother of two beautiful girls. After moving away for many years while her husband was in the USMC, she is happy to be settled back in Maryland and working in such a great community.

Dawn Sharer – MSN, ANP-BC, DCNP

Dawn Sharer is a board certified dermatology nurse practitioner that started with Frederick Dermatology Associates in 2012. She began her career in health care as a registered nurse in 1993 when she graduated from Hagerstown Community College. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Notre Dame of Maryland. After several years in a number of facets of nursing, Dawn began graduate school. She completed her masters studies at University of Maryland School of Nursing, currently ranked among the top graduate nursing programs in the country.

Dawn trained under the tutelage of Dr. Moe and Dr. Hogan and knew that she had found her niche. Practicing both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dawn enjoys the nurturing, challenging, and service oriented environment that Frederick Dermatology Associates provides. Dawn is a member of the Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and the Maryland Nurses Association.

Dawn loves the Frederick community, having grown up in Md and living nearby in Williamsport. She enjoys spending her free time with her family including her husband, son and daughter.

Nikki Murray – MSN, AGNP-BC, CRNP

Nikki Murray graduated in 2008 from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Nikki gained experience in the healthcare field working in orthopedics and mental health before starting her nursing career. Nikki graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013. Upon graduation, she worked at Frederick Memorial Hospital on a Medical-Surgical unit and also became certified as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University and became board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.

Nikki joined the Frederick Dermatology family in 2016 as a registered nurse and has continued her career at FDA as a nurse practitioner. Under Dr. Hogan and Dr. Moe’s training and mentorship, Nikki has found her niche in dermatology. Practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, Nikki provides a full range of services to her patients. Nikki is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Nikki is a Frederick, MD native, where she still resides with her husband and two wonderful
sons. Nikki is proud to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to her community.

Kristin Lawton – RN

Kristin Lawton is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Esthetician. She graduated from Carroll Community College in 2010. Upon graduation she worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital on a Cardiac unit and then at American Laser Skincare where she performed various laser and skincare treatments. Kristin has a passion for helping people look and feel their best.

After 7 years as an Esthetician, Kristin decided to return to school to pursue a career in nursing so that she could further her education and be able to provide more extensive treatments. Kristin joined Frederick Dermatology in 2015. She is currently performing cosmetic procedures as well as treating psoriasis and vitiligo patients with the Pharos excimer laser. Kristin enjoys educating patients and making a difference in their skin.

Raejean Presgraves – Licensed Aesthetician; LMT

Raejean Presgraves joined our team as a Licensed Aesthetician. She has been at the forefront of the skin care industry for over 30 years and has served the Frederick community for 28 years through her private practice, Skin Care Essentials LLC. Raejean is a Licensed Aesthetician from the Von Lee International School of Aesthetics and a Licensed Massage Therapist from the Baltimore School of Massage, and specializes in Lymphatic and Gua Sha massages. Her focus at Frederick Dermatology is to offer medical grade skincare therapies with the most up-to-date technology. Keegan Owen – Cosmetics Manager

Keegan graduated from Hood College in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. She has stayed local to the Frederick area ever since, starting her first job as a Medical Assistant just 2 days after graduation. Keegan has continued to learn and grow in the medical field ever since, from podiatry to radiology to dermatology where she is now managing the Aura Store in Frederick Dermatology Associates.

Keegan prioritizes individualized patient care and attention to detail. Her bubbly charisma and outgoing nature makes her very approachable, so don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have! She’s always eager to help out our patrons!

Meredith Gusman – RN

Meredith graduated from Towson University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, after working for the health department she decided to obtain her nursing degree so she could play a more hands-on role in the care of people in her community. She graduated from Frederick community college in 2006 as a Registered nurse and started her career in Labor and Delivery at Frederick memorial hospital, where she worked for 18 years helping deliver babies as a floor nurse and eventually advanced to the role of charge nurse. Meredith is proud to have been nominated for nurse of the year in 2017 by her peers and was also voted Best Nurse in Frederick’s Child Magazine readers choice awards 2021. Meredith cherished her time working in obstetrics but decided to take on a new challenge as cosmetic nurse at FDA. Meredith has a passion for helping people and developing relationships while providing excellent care to her patients.

Carlotta (Carly) Stoecker – Licensed Aesthetician

Carly Stoecker is a recent graduate of the Esthetic Institute and has joined our team as a Licensed Aesthetician. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Hollins University and a Master of Science degree in Business from Full Sail University. After which she studied at The Academy of Makeup in Baltimore. Carly worked for Smashbox Cosmetics as a makeup artist and has been in the skincare industry as a brand representative for Exuviance, Neutrogena and Aveeno for the past decade. She has a passion for restoring the skin to a healthy state through the use of quality skincare ingredients. Carly genuinely cares about meeting people’s personal skincare needs. She loves learning, animals, traveling and being outside in nature. Her friendly disposition quickly puts one at ease. Her main goal is to achieve superior results for her clients who can be confident about having a better understanding of their skincare requirements.
