What to Expect

Your appointment begins with a personalized consultation to discuss your goals.

Together, you and Carly will design the ideal brow shape and color before treatment begins.

A topical numbing cream is applied to maximize comfort during the procedure.

Most appointments take approximately three hours.

Healing Process

Immediately after treatment, your brows will appear darker than the final result.

Over the first week, the color gradually softens as your skin heals, revealing a more natural appearance.

Healing is typically complete in about four weeks.

A perfecting touch-up is usually scheduled after healing to refine the final result and ensure optimal symmetry and color retention.

How Long Does It Last?

Most patients enjoy beautiful brows for approximately 10–18 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and skincare routine.

Patients with oilier skin may benefit from periodic color refreshes sooner.

Possible risks and complications

• Discomfort: Most clients experience little to no discomfort thanks to the topical numbing cream. However, everyone responds differently to anesthetics, so you may still feel some sensitivity during the procedure.
• Infection: Although uncommon, there is a small risk of infection. To reduce this risk, keep the treated area clean and avoid touching it except with freshly washed hands. Please follow the aftercare instructions provided.
• Uneven Color: As your skin heals, the pigment may heal unevenly due to factors such as your skin type, healing process, or minor bleeding. This is normal, and any areas that need adjustment can usually be refined during your touch-up appointment.
• Natural Asymmetry: Everyone’s face is naturally asymmetrical. While we carefully design your treatment for the most balanced result possible, minor adjustments may be made at your follow-up appointment if needed.
• Swelling or Bruising: Mild swelling and bruising are common after treatment, though some people experience more than others. Applying a cold compress may help, and any swelling or bruising typically resolves within 1–5 days. Some clients experience little to none at all.
• Numbing Products: A topical numbing cream or gel is used to help keep you comfortable during the procedure. These products commonly contain ingredients such as lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, and epinephrine. Please let us know before your appointment if you have any known allergies to these ingredients.
• Allergic Reactions: Although rare, it is possible to have an allergic reaction to the pigments or other products used during the procedure. If you have concerns or a history of allergies, we can perform a patch test 5–7 days before your appointment to help assess your sensitivity.
